As updated previously, we extended invitations a while ago to all federal party leaders to participate in a series of town halls.
This week, we received last minute confirmations from the NDP, Liberals and Green Party.
The Conservatives declined our invitation to participate.
We’ve invited some of our key stakeholders across the aging sector to participate in these events and ask any burning questions they have of the parties. On our side, we’ll be asking some tough questions about how the parties plan to address our top 3 election asks, and the overall needs of older voters.
The sessions will be recorded, and we’ll be sending them out to all of our members as soon as possible, before Monday.
