On Sept 27th at 12:00 PM ET, The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre is hosting a webinar entitled ‘The Role of Meaning in Life and Social Interactions in Promoting Psychological Well-Being Among Older Adults‘.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this presentation, you will be able to:

  • Identify the role of Meaning in Life and social support in promoting psychological well-being among older adults;
  • Critically reflect upon theory and research investigating meaning-centered approaches to protecting against suicide thoughts and behaviour in later life; and
  • Appraise and discuss new research projects that aim to promote psychological well-being and reduce psychological distress among older adults in the context of life transitions and pandemic-related social restrictions.
