The Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (AEBC) is hosting a virtual town hall on August 19th at 11:00 AM EST.

About the Event

An interactive event for the blind, deaf, and disabled communities including panelists from the medical community and those with lived experience with COVID and the importance of vaccines.

Panelist discussion will include:

  • An overview of current COVID-19 vaccines and their efficacy.
  • Personal and scientific benefits of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Vaccination myth busting and common fears shared by disabled individuals.
  • How to book your vaccine appointment in Ontario for first and second doses.

Accommodations provided include ASL interpreters from Deaf Spectrum and live captioning through the Zoom platform.
